Hello! I’m a graduate student in the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Programme in Children’s Literature, Media, & Cultural Entrepreneurship. My pronouns are she/they and my positionality—as a queer disabled Jewish woman, from a lower-income background—guide much of my academic theorization and professional work.
My Research & Career Interests:
Critical representation of marginalized identities like socioeconomic class, race, and disability within children’s literature and media
Accessible learning environments and safe spaces
Youth educational video games and experimental learning materials
Centering assistive technology in the publishing industry
Compassionate storytelling through unconventional digital mediums like interactive maps
As an undergraduate at Grinnell College, I pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Gender, Women’s, and Sexuality Studies, concentrating in Digital Studies. I found a passion for the digital humanities, creating learning experiences to explain transnational socio-political phenomena. Explore my website for examples of such work.
